Seems like everyone I know change, some of my closest friends last time are like going further away from me. Is it because of my playing of the drum set, if so, I think I do not want to perform during speech day or any performance that the school is organising because they want my buddy, Kamarul, than me. Though I can play drum set, but they want him more because he can play better than me as he got the feel of the drums than I do. Though I respect my buddy more, but it hurts a lot after every Speech Day Rehearsal because from what I think or see, most of them want Kamarul than me. In my mind, I kept on thinking whether should I or should I not perform, but after I told Kamarul, he said he doesn't want to perform at first, but because I am playing, he plays. Thanks Man for the support!!! But every time when I play the pieces with the band, I will always got this feeling that the band will look down on me, and it makes me to stop playing the drum set ever again with the band.
To those band members who performs for Speech Day and reads my blog, just to tell you all, the last rehearsal, I played slow because I followed the tuba as Mr Chua asked me to follow the beat from tuba. I am serious, if you don't believe me, ask Mr Chua yourself, if you dare. You thought its easy to play the drum set fast? To those who look down on me, you try playing the drum set first to prove yourself better than me. If you can play better, you can look down on me, if you cannot, don't even bother to look down, as its hard to play a drum set fast and the co-ordinations is also hard. Not only that, I will also give comments that hurt you all. Try putting yourself into my shoes, so that you can know how I am feel. "What Goes Around..Comes Around". And you think its easy to side read the piece and play fast. By the way, don't bother asking my buddy, Kamarul, for help, because I did not ask him for helping me on how to play, but he gave me the rhythm and beat, and I learn the rest by myself from listening to the rhythms. You think its easy to listen and play, just for your info, its not when the music is fast. Try it yourself.
