Navigations Are At The Top.
Can't believe that Speech Day came so fast. Its like the rehearsals were shorter than past years and this time, not the whole band is performing, but only selected people for Clarinets to play the Clarinet Ensemble, and selected people for the Brass and Percussion to play the Brass Ensemble.
OK!! Continue about what happen today...
Before Speech Day starts, had normal lessons in school...blahblahblah...but sad thing is that, my class didn't have Physical Education, in short, P.E., as my teacher didn't come to school today and all of us were doing our own work. After school, met up with Eelin and Vania to go back home, and once I reached my house, I was like rushing like hell as I am suppose to meet up with Farhan and Khai Seng at McDonald's at The Community Center near Hong Kah Secondary School to eat, but when I was rushing, the button from my pants snap and it broke. Luckily my mum was at home and I ask her to help me sow back ASAP. After my mum helped me sow back with a new button from my new pants, which I haven't even wear it I rushed out of the house and suddenly met Vania at the bus stop, but she is meeting with Sery and the rest at Jurong East Entertainment. By The Way, Vania and I are just friends, nothing else. And I am serious.
When I met up with Khai Seng and Farhan, all of us quickly bought our food as we were super hungry and I didn't even eat since lunch yesterday. Not only that, that was the first time eating a meal with an extra large fries as I was super super damn hungry. After our meal, we went back to school and to the band room as we were told to report at 3.45pm.
After reporting and all, all of us went down for a sound check as the Band is wanted to test the sound with the microphones as the guest sitting at the back might not hear us. After everything was done, the Band went up for our dinner, but I didn't eat much as I was so damn full after my last meal at McDonald's. After our dinner, most of the band members went to the window at the band room to see our friends and classmates. When all of us were called back to go back to our seats, the whole band played a game, but a few of us, including me were at one corner doing something else. The whole band were like screaming here and there when playing the game. After awhile later, the Clarinets needed to go down to get ready to perform, and the Brass, including the Percussion were slacking in the band room. When the Clarinets went down, some of the Brass went missing as they were not in the band room, so we off the lights as most of us think I might be cool as it was during night time. Once the lights were off, all of us could not see anything and all of us went to the window area to see what was happening down stairs.
After awhile later, the lights went back on and the Clarinets had finish their performance and they went back to the band room, and the brass were waiting for our turn. While waiting, some of us, including me, Khai Seng and Kai Wen, started to shuffle. After we done our group shuffle, Shaffiqah and some of the other band members, which I can't remember who, wanted to learn and the three of us teached them how to shuffle. It was so fun as all of us were laughing and dancing together, but this is my last time laughing, dancing and performing with them together, gonna miss that a lot.
When it was our turn to get ready at the ware house, and once we were there, all of us were super damn nervous and scared as this is our first time playing in front of 10,000 people, and it is worse than performing during our previous performance, The Ampio Musical. When we were ready to perform, we were told that there was a 10 to 15 minutes break, so all of us were waiting at the ware house. While waiting, we took a lot of pictures for memories, and memories for the last performance with some of the graduates. After the break was over and the Brasses and Percussions were ready to perform, but before that, all of us joint hands to relax ourselves. Once after relaxing ourselves, all of us went to the stage and started performing. After our performance, all of us including the rest of the performance sang the school song loudly and proud in front of everyone.
After that, the whole band went back to the band room and were preparing to go back home. After leaving the band room and at the concourse, went roaming around the school with Vania, Sery, Eelin, Hafiz, Deon, Shakila and Khai Seng. After that, all of us went back home.
That's all about what happened during Speech Day and this the longest post that I post, but I said every thing in detail on what happen. LOL!!!
Gonna miss performing with the band, sharing of laughter, emotions and other stuffs with the band. And mostly, gonna miss one special person.
